The Mette
A neighborhood cocktail bar with old-world charm
Inspired by the character of an early-1900s neighborhood storefront, The Mette’s design began with the idea of creating a space that felt as though it had a history of its own. During demolition, the original brick walls were uncovered, revealing a piece of the building’s past that became part of the story. From there, the design draws on the feeling of a Victorian sitting room, blending vintage finds with new pieces to create a cocktail bar that feels collected over time.
